Having spent the best part of his career in the apparel industry, Kevin is well qualified to understand what an apparel business needs out of it's business system.
Putting in new business systems at Lotus Shoes who had five factories across the UK supplying Marks & Spencer and others with footwear made him realise that there was a lack of dedicated apparel systems available in the UK.
In 1998 Kevin Meers and Chris Middleton lead an MBO of the IT function at Lotus Shoes, forming CIM Computer Services Ltd and Footwear & Apparel Management (FAM) was born. After 10 years of providing, developing and selling FAM in the industry it was time to move on and Kevin aquired the FAM software division from CIM Computer Services Ltd into a new company Redrose Software Ltd. This aquisition enables the staff of Redrose Software Ltd to focus on the development of the Footwear & Apparel Mangement (FAM) software and it's supply to the apparel industry.
